Starting at nncron start and every 4 days from now

Postby triggerfish » Mon, 19 May 2014, 14:13

Hi

I want to start a job today and every 4 days following.
Code: Select all
10 20 */4 * * C:\Apps\GeoTools...
Waits for the 4th day to start the command.

Code: Select all
10 20 ?/4 * * C:\Apps\GeoTools
Starts today at 20:10, but not the 4th days after.

What would be te correct syntax to combine both?

Best regards, Peter

There's no such way. You can't specify "every 4 days" in cron syntax. The 3'rd field is "day of the month".
You'd need to manually implement the missing logic. I.e. by including it into the script you run.
